Nat King Cole

I was named after the song Mona Lisa. My parents loved Nat King Cole and named me after the song minus the Mona. The name Lisa wasn't popular when my parents picked it, or so they thought. When I was in grade school there were 3 other Lisa's in my grade. In 4th grade there was a girl named Mona in my class and the teacher would have us go up to the chalk board and do T races in math. Each of us would have to do a list of math problems and race each other. Mona beat me and my teacher sang the song, "Mona beat Lisa"to the tune of Nat King Cole's song. I thought it was funny because I grew up hearing my father sing that song. I chose that song to dance with my father on my wedding day.
